The Davines Group, (located in Italy), needed a new production line to develop a new gel, shampoo and cream. They wanted to remain caring for the well-being of both people and the planet. Inoxpa’s solution to this was to address the customers requirements by focusing on the most vital points; saving time, energy and consumption.
The plant Inoxpa created for the company, comprised of such equipment as storage tanks, mixproof valves, transfer pumps and a SILPIG system.
The solution uses high efficiency jackets that enable much faster heating and cooling than traditional systems, which uses much less energy and water. It’s also self-cleaning used an integrated CIP function. Much like this Case Study, there’s also a product dosing system which occurs by vacuum. It’s connected to the customers raw material loops for automated product loading, ensuring consistent doses each time via a weight control.
One of the most important pieces of equipment in this solution was the SILPIG System. It can recover any residual product once pumping from the stock tanks to the packaging. Residual product in the production line could not only cost a customer money, it would also be unhygienic via a build-up of bacteria. This could cause issues with the final product and potentially put their customers at risk.
