A dairy processing company contacted Inoxpa for a technical solution to their cleaning process. Their current setup was manually operated and had a single line, meaning this cost the customer time, money and used a lot of chemical and water use. Inoxpa’s solution was to create a fully automatic CIP system, freeing up the customers time and putting money back in their pockets.
They did this by creating a system that uses tubular heat exchanges, with two lines to enable simultaneous cleaning. This not only streamlined the process of cleaning the lines, but it also reduced the use of chemical products and water usage. One of the great things about a fully automated system like this, is that your chemical product concentration levels are consistently level. Manual addition can be ineffective, and you could risk high concentration levels that could cause issues within the line. The same goes for if your concentration levels are too low, this leads to more time spent cleaning the lines. By use of conductivity meters and dosing pumps, the customer can ensure precise measurements when adding chemical products.
Safety is also a huge part of Inoxpa’s solutions of this nature; to prevent operatives from entering the tanks for the cleaning process, Inoxpa fitting special manhole-type covers adapted with spray balls, for the cleaning truck tankers.
